Member Weekend – 2 Days Away!
In August the Club likes to honor the membership by throwing a three day party, a.k.a “Members Weekend”! Here is the fun we are planning for you and your entire family:
Friday, Aug. 7 – Pizza, Popcorn, Penny Candy, and a Movie
We will show “Finding Nemo” for the kids and adults. If the weather is good the movie will be shown on the beach. If we have rain the movie will be shown indoors. The Club will provide various pizzas, popcorn and penny candy. The soda and bottled water will also be provided by the Club. Come enjoy a fun night with your family at no cost to you.
Saturday, Aug. 8 – Oscar Kerman Races; Dogs and Burgers during the day.
In the Evening, DJ, Games, and BBQ Ribs and Honey BBQ Pulled Chicken with all the fixins.
In the morning we will run the first of two Oscar Kerman Races. This is a fun race for all boat and sailing abilities, so make sure to bring your water canon to defend yourself.
After the first race the Club will serve $1 hotdogs and $2 burgers.
In the afternoon we’ll run the second race. Around 4:00 pm the DJ will start the evening off with music and games for the kids.
Upstairs we will have tables nicely decorated for a lovely evening for adults to share a glass of wine or beer provided by the Club.
At 6:00 pm John will serve up a his Great BBQ Ribs and Honey BBQ Pulled Chicken along with potato salad, coleslaw, vegetable medley, garden salad, club roll and butter. For dessert ice cream on sugar cones. The Club will provide all beer and wines, soda and water for the members.
