Movie Night Saturday! With sailing film Maiden

TO BE STREAMED TONIGHT AT
THAMES YACHT CLUB MOVIE NIGHT SATURDAY

NEW LONDON, CT – Thames Yacht Club is pleased to announced technical and logistical barriers have been overcome, and welcomes members and families to join us on the beach Saturday evening at sunset to view Maiden, the story of the first ever all-female crew to enter the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1989.

“I am a big fan of TYC Movie Night”, said TYC Commodore Marcel Couture, “It’s a bonus to have another sailing movie, Maiden to show at our club!”

Unlike previous films shown at the club, Maiden will stream from an online video source and has been tested in advance. Should technical difficulty occur, another popular film will be selected as a back up plan.

“I am all in on Saturday for Movie Night, please join us”, concluded Commodore Couture.

UNTOLD: THE RACE OF THE CENTURY
TO BE STREAMED TONIGHT AT
THAMES YACHT CLUB MOVIE NIGHT

NEW LONDON, CT – Thames Yacht Club is pleased to announced technical and logistical barriers have been overcome, and welcomes members and families to join us on the beach this evening at sunset to view UNTOLD:  The Race of the Century

“I am a big fan of TYC Movie Night”, said TYC Commodore Marcel Couture, “I remember the 1983 Cup very well, it was a national tragedy”

Unlike previous films shown at the club, Untold: The Race of the Century will stream from an online video source and has been tested in advance. Should technical difficulty occur, another popular film will be selected as a back up plan.

“Movie Night is like ‘Hotel California, you can check out but you can never leave”, concluded Commodore Couture.
