This year at the Marine Tag Sale and Open House on April 23 we would also like to have an Art Show and Craft Fair on the second floor of the Clubhouse. 2016 & 2017 Cruise Planning Meeting
November 8, 2015 – 2:00 PM
Everyone is invited to attend the 2016 & 2017 Cruise Planning Meeting on Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 PM at the Clubhouse. The purpose of the meeting is to gather ideas for destinations and events from members for the 2016 and 2017 cruising seasons. Breakout your cruising guides and charts. Share your ideas. Refreshments will be provided.

The Thames Yacht Club will finish the 2015 cruising season with a two night cruise to Essex, CT. For members that winter their boats up the Connecticut River this is a wonderful trip. Essex offers great restaurants, shopping, and historic museums. Each year we are lucky enough to view large numbers of water fowl including eagles, egrets, ospreys, ducks, swans and Canada geese. The changing color of the trees along with the tranquil river makes this a memorable trip each year.

All boats attending the Norwich cruise MUST contact the American Wharf Marina and the Fleet Captain to register for the cruise no later than May 8th. Please remember to place in the comment section of the registration that you are attending with the Thames Yacht Club. Five boats are currently registered for the August cruise. I have reserved moorings for ten boats so there is still room for five more boats.
