Want to learn how to sail but don’t know where to start?  TYC offers adult sailing lessons for beginners to advanced sailors.

TYC Adult Sailing Lessons: Come make some new friends and learn how to sail on TYCs fleet of 420s

On Monday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m. throughout the summer, TYC’s adult (18 and over) sailing program offers sessions of highly individualized instruction aboard our fleet of 420 sailing dinghies. All levels of skill are welcome–and all ages of adult sailors. The classes can help you learn to sail or sharpen your sailing skills. Taught by experienced instructors, you will receive the knowledge and experience on the water to that will prepare you to compete in the 420 adult race series held Thursday evening.

Cost is $115 for members and $140 for nonmembers. If you return the registration form before June 1st you will be entitled to an additional 10% discount.

Sign up for Summer Youth Sailing Programs at TYC…Registration is now underway

Sign up your children for Sailing Programs at TYC this summer.  TYC offers youth sailing programs from June 27-August 12. Sign up for 1,2,3 or 7 week sessions is now underway.IMG_8622

Full day sessions include a half-day of sailing, and a half day of marine science, swimming, and kayaking with supervised lunch (lunch not provided).  An understanding of seamanship and sailing skills build confidence in young sailors, as well as an appreciation for boating.

Lessons are taught from beginner to advanced levels, with certified instructors.
