1971 Tartan 34-C – $19,000

Primrose is a 1971 Tartan 34-C, hull 113. She sleeps 6 comfortably, with an upgraded Yanmar diesel engine, new navigation system, auto pilot, and many improvements. Radar equipped, North Sails stackpack for easy sail covering and handling, large genoa and upgraded mainsail.

The Tartan 34 was designed by Olin Stevens, the preeminent naval designer of the 1950s. Very sea-kindly boat which is fast, stable and easy to sail. Practical Sailor lists the Tartan 34 as one of the best used boats. Primrose is Coast Guard documented, and well maintained.

Well maintained 1980 Cape Dory 30 sloop for sale!

This great looking sloop has tiller steering, a teak interior, a teak and holly sole, and newly covered cabin cushions. The galley has an icebox and an alcohol stove. Sails include a new main in about 2017, a new 135% genoa in 2018, an asymmetric spinnaker in ATN sock, a drifter, a yankee, and a storm jib.

She is powered by a Beta 14 diesel which is in good shape and has been well maintained. Electronics include a chart plotter, depth sounder, and both mast-mounted and hand-held VHF. The boat was re-wired by an electrical engineer. I have a 30 lb Rocna anchor that has not yet been mounted, and solar panels with a controller that also have yet to be mounted. The cabin settee cushions are newly re-covered as of the 2020 season. There are many other related items.

She was not sailed in 2019, for health reasons, but is now in the water, moored at TYC!

The Cal 27-1 is the first of 3, 27 ft designs by Bill Lapworth and manufactured by Jensen Marine. This design features an optional outboard motor and a pop top for extra headroom at anchor. With an oversize rig, this is a lively and fun boat to sail capable of 7+ knots on a reach. While capable of sleeping 5, if you are looking for weekend getaways to Block Island, Montauk, or Greenport with a special someone this boat can be easily single or double handed.
If you want to race, this boat has been a successful club racer. Boat comes with a dual axle triad trailer where it spends its winters.

FORCE 5 FOR SALE! – $2000.00

Mid 80’s Force 5 which has seen very little use over the past 30 years (maybe 10-15 outings.) It is in excellent condition with the exception of a small fiberglass / gel coat repair I made where the hull had rested on a trailer support before I discovered the cutout support which is now the cradle for the hull on the trailer.

The sails are the original North Sails. I believe all of the blocks and tackle are in good working order. Whenever this boat was sailed in salt water, I always washed it down with fresh water before storing it in my basement or garage.  Contact the owner via email by clicking here.
